LUNCHEON WILL HONOR SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS

 
The Strongsville Chamber of Commerce will award nineteen scholarships to Strongsville students at their May Monthly Business Luncheon.  The luncheon is scheduled for Tuesday, May 15, 11:30 a.m., at Michaud's Towne N' Country.
 
The scholarships are funded by the proceeds from the annual Holiday Dance held each December and sponsored by the Chamber.  This year marks the 46th consecutive year that the Chamber has awarded scholarships to deserving seniors.  The Chamber donates more scholarships, with a higher dollar value, than any other local organization in Strongsville.
 
We are pleased to welcome Mr. David Jager as our guest speaker for the luncheon.  Mr. Jager retired from the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland as a vice president after thirty nine years of service. He is also a past president of the Strongsville Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Jager  served as a sergeant in the United States Army and spent thirteen months in Vietnam as an infantry soldier. He holds a bachelor's degree and an executive MBA degree from Baldwin Wallace. 
 
Reservations for the luncheon may be made by calling 440.238.3366, emailing to info@strongsvillechamber.com , or by going to the Chamber website before May 11.  Cost will be $20 per person, payable at the door, in advance by calling the office, or through the website registration. Please remember, you must cancel your reservation 24 hours in advance or you will be responsible for the fee.
