About Us
Province Management Group is a growing provider of integrated HR solutions that help businesses operate more effectively and build stronger teams. We support our clients across people operations, employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, compliance, and workers compensation through a personalized, hands-on approach.
We don’t just provide services—we act as trusted business partners. Join a team that values collaboration, accountability, and delivering real results for the businesses we serve.

Position Overview
We are seeking a B2B Business Development Officer (BDO) to drive thoughtful, sustainable growth across the Ohio market. This role is not about chasing quick wins—it’s about building meaningful partnerships and delivering solutions that align with how we serve our clients.
The ideal candidate acts as a strategic partner, not just a salesperson—someone who understands that long-term client success is the true measure of performance. You will represent who we really are as an organization: collaborative, solutions-oriented, and committed to doing what’s right for our clients over what’s easy for metrics.

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct targeted outbound prospecting, including cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and local business networking groups to generate new leads and increase brand visibility
  • Assist in developing and executing structured referral partner initiatives
  • Proactively identify stalled deals and implement strategies to move them forward
  • Monitor and manage sales activity against established KPIs (calls, meetings, proposals, close rate, revenue targets)
  • Forecast revenue, analyze win/loss data, and provide regular pipeline reporting to leadership
  • Represent the company in community and industry organizations to build awareness and credibility
  • Ensure proposals, contracts, and documentation meet internal standards and timelines
  • Adhere to pricing guidelines, approval processes, and contract requirements
This role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and a results-driven mindset. You will manage multiple opportunities simultaneously and operate with urgency in a fast-paced B2B sales environment.

What We’re Looking For
  • Strong relationship-building, presentation, and closing skills
  • 3–5+ years of solutions or B2B sales experience
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to manage a sales pipeline independently
  • Experience in PEO/AEO/ASO, HR services, payroll, insurance, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM systems is a plus
What We Offer
  • Competitive base salary (base plus commission/ D.O.E.)
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Paid time off and company holidays
  • Employer paid life insurance
  • Flexible, growth-focused culture
Why Join Us?
At Province Management Group, our mission is to grow people. You’ll be part of a team guided by values like Adaptability, Consistent Quality, Partnership, Personal Growth, Ownership & Accountability, and Making it Meaningful—where your work directly impacts businesses and communities.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to travel regularly within Ohio for client meetings, networking events, and on-site visits
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and driving
  • Frequent use of a computer, phone, and other standard office equipment
  • Ability to attend in-person and virtual meetings, including occasional early morning or evening commitments
  • Ability to lift and transport materials (e.g., marketing materials, presentation equipment) up to 15–20 pounds as needed
  • Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions
